Post The Theme of Teeth in the Sopranos
Anyone feel like discussing the theme of teeth in the Sopranos. I can think of eight instances where a scene involved teeth in some way. Isabella, Tony's imagined friend, the foreign exchange student staying at the Cusamanos next door, is a dental student. Meadow's second to last boyfriend Finn DeTrolio is also a dental student. In the episode Another Toothpick, the title of the episode as well as the name Janice uses for cancer patients is "Another Toothpick." Tony finds that tooth in the cuff of his pants after he stomps Coco in season six. Tony said once "There's an old Italian saying: you f*** up once, you lose two teeth." Chris complains that he can't even get Novocaine from his dentist because he is a recovering addict. When the ride for which Paulie is responsible breaks and hurts a bunch of people at the Feast of Elzéar of Sabran, Paulie has this conversation with his nephew Little Paulie...

Little Paulie Germani: "It's pretty bad Paulie. Lady broke her wrist. Some Puerto Rican kid lost some...some teeth."

Paulie Walnuts: "Ah...what am I, a f***in' dentist?"

Tony has the dream in the episode Test Dream where his teeth start falling out. I've heard that dreaming of teeth is supposed to mean something, money maybe, but I don't think that's right. Can anyone remember another allusion to teeth? Or does anyone want to posit a guess as to what the writers were trying to say.
